The health of a lion cub from Chechnya that was used as a photo prop is rapidly deteriorating. The animal was rescued from a karaoke bar in terrible condition. The baby's leg was broken and his weak body would not have survived without a blood transfusion. Volunteers continue to look for ways to save him.
"His condition is deteriorating. Today we will take blood from one of the lions in the hope that it will help him. "Getting a blood transfusion is a very serious and dangerous process, but we hope he survives." This is a statement from the Pride Lands sanctuary, which is fighting for the life of a lion cub.
Now it is up to you whether your baby will recover or not. The animal's body is extremely exhausted. Instead of special milk for carnivores, they were given infant formula.
The karaoke staff provided the lion cub with such poor living conditions that his weight reached 4.2 kg in just 4 months. That is 10 kg less than other lionesses in the reserve. The baby was admitted to the intensive care unit.
“At this moment, we sincerely hope that he does not give up,” the volunteers wrote.
We would like to remind you that animal welfare workers in North Ossetia found an emaciated lion cub in a karaoke club in Chechnya. They urgently began to save the baby. He was diagnosed with severe diarrhea, fractures of both front legs, kidney inflammation, severe anemia and several digestive problems. In addition, predators have poor eyesight, which is also related to the poor nutrition of the babies.
The lion cubs never learned to eat meat, but at this age the small predators should begin to transition from milk. The rescued animals are now under 24-hour medical supervision. They will have a new test every 24 hours to monitor changes in your baby's condition. Experts are afraid to make predictions and hope that he will not give up.
