"Veterans of Russia" Called to Deny Shaman Registration of "I Am Russian" Sign
Moscow, October 17, FederalPress. Representatives of the all-Russian people's movement "Veterans of Russia" have called for singer Yaroslav Dronov, nicknamed Shaman, not to be allowed to register the trademark "I am Russian." They believe that this contradicts the essence of patriotism.
The activists are against the use of the phrase "I am Russian" for commercial purposes. They do not believe that it contradicts the essence of Russian patriotism and spiritual values.
RIA Novosti also noted that patriotism cannot be turned into a business or marketing tool for profit.
Before that, it became known that Shaman wanted to register the trademark "I am Russian". Under this name, he planned to produce alcohol and cosmetics.
Earlier, Yaroslav Dronov explained why he decided to register such a patent. The singer said that many people are trying to make money on her work.
