Megahand responded to rumors about possible store closures in Perm
"Megahand", one of the largest Perm second-hand stores of the federal chain, does not plan to close stores in the regional capital. An employee of one of the stores told URA.RU correspondents about this. Earlier, it was known about the closure of branches of the chain in a number of regions of Russia. However, in Perm, the stores continue to work as usual.
"We will not close. Both the Perm branch on Druzhby Street and both branches on Svetlogorskaya Street are operating as usual," a salesperson at one of the federal chain's branches told the agency's correspondent. The official page of the Perm store on the VKontakte social network also does not contain information about the upcoming closure. In one of its latest posts, the second-hand store informs customers about the start of sales of a new collection.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that stores of the federal chain are closing en masse in a number of regions of Russia. In Kurgan, the branch of Megahand, which had previously organized large-scale sales, has ceased operations. A well-known retail store in Nizhnevartovsk, popular among residents of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, has also ceased operations. The chain's management has not yet explained the reason for the closure. Megahand opened in Perm in September 2016. It has established itself as a popular clothing and footwear store in Europe. There are now two retail chains operating in the regional capital.
