In Priangarie, migrants were banned from working in taxis, trade and education
Irkutsk, October 15, FederalPress. Starting next year, migrants will be banned from working in some sectors of the Irkutsk Region economy. The decree was signed by the region's governor, Igor Kobzev.
This article refers to foreigners working on the basis of a work permit. From 2025, immigrants will be prohibited from transporting passengers in urban and suburban transport, as well as working in pharmaceutical production, trade, forestry, education, child care and tourism. Foreigners are also prohibited from participating in geological exploration.
According to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, over 38 thousand foreigners arrived in the Irkutsk region in the first five months of this year. In this indicator, the region consistently ranks first in Siberia and seventh in the country.
Let me remind you that today in the Irkutsk region there are 16 types of activities in which migrant labor is prohibited.
