Yonhap: North Korea blew up roads leading to South Korea
North Korea also blew up a section of the inter-Korean road, Yonhap News reported, citing the South Korean military.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said: "North Korea blew up a section of road north of the Military Demarcation Line around noon (6 a.m. Moscow time)."
It is becoming clear that we are talking about transport routes in the western and eastern parts of the Korean Peninsula. Our military is increasing its readiness in preparation for this explosion.
Earlier, the General Staff of the Korean People's Army announced its intention to block roads and railways leading to the Republic of Korea and "turn North Korea's southern border into a fortress." This measure is interpreted as a consequence of the aggravation of the military situation on the Korean Peninsula.
