According to the press service of the educational institution, the victim was taken to the university hospital with a laceration on the forearm measuring 10x3 cm. In order to preserve the function of the arm, he had to undergo an autologous vein transplant.
The operation, conducted by a team of doctors led by pediatric surgeon Roman Polozov, lasted about four hours. Now the girl's condition is stable, non-critical, and the blood supply to the hand has also been restored.
