More than 130 criminals hiding from Russia found in Kazakhstan
Speaking at a joint board meeting of the two countries' Interior Ministry directors, Vladimir Kolokoltsev noted that the joint fight against crime is being conducted in various areas, including information technology. For example, since the beginning of the year, hundreds of devices used to commit remote cybercrimes have been seized.
The Minister noted that methods are currently being developed to prevent remote cashing of stolen funds. Criminals are assisted by people who hand over their bank cards for money. Another pressing problem is the theft of personal information through fake websites. As we emphasized at the meeting, all this can only be successfully countered if we act together.
