“Aviation Innovation Day” was held at Sheremetyevo
How pilots practice their work skills and how to use sound to detect aircraft defects were discussed at the event "Aviation Innovation Day at Sheremetyevo: from idea to flight." It was held as part of the Moscow government's technological competition "Aviatech." The goal is to find and implement unique solutions in the capital's aviation industry.
Domestic companies presented developments based on artificial intelligence, autonomous aircraft maintenance systems, as well as the country's first electric airfield tanker.
Anna Chunina, Deputy Director of the Moscow Innovation Agency, said: "We received 180 applications, and the best 30 were selected to participate in the competition. Depending on the results of the competition, there could be from 12 to 15 projects, more or less.
You will remain a participant of Demo Day. This means that these projects have certainly found their customers and fruitful cooperation awaits them."
As a rule, companies that made it to the finals have already found clients and implemented solutions for the benefit of the city and their business.
