The Optima, which arrived in Odessa under the flag of Palau and with weapons, was shot down by a Russian missile for the second time. This was reported in the Telegram channel Russian Weapons.
It is known that the attacks on ammunition and military equipment on board the ships were carried out using Iskander ballistic missiles. The report also says that as a result of the explosion, a vessel transporting weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was damaged.
According to the channel, the ship was previously attacked by Iskander missiles while unloading in Odessa. It is known that military cargo is constantly transported between Ukrainian and Romanian ports.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that on October 6, a ship belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was subjected to artillery fire near Odessa. The explosion occurred during the unloading of a container ship in the port of Yuzhny in Odessa Oblast.
