An aggressive lynx that was harassing summer residents was caught in Primorye
Information about a lynx attack on an 8-year-old child on Saturday, October 12, in one of the farms of the Era Gardening Association, has spread on social networks. The conflict occurred at about 19:00. According to preliminary information, the child escaped with minor injuries.
The next day, a lynx, presumably the same individual, appeared in neighboring Sirenevka and showed aggression towards the female.
Today, the Telegram news channel reports that an aggressive lynx has been caught. Now it is awaiting a veterinary examination. Perhaps the predator has taken to visiting dachas not because it is too lazy to participate in a full-fledged hunt, but because some injury or infection prevents it from carrying out a full-fledged hunt.
Earlier it was reported that an emaciated leopard was spotted on the highway near Ussuriysk. Experts monitored it for three months using camera traps, and in earlier shots the predator looked much more well-fed and healthy. Animals are also captured for veterinary care.
