Ukraine warns of imminent mobilization of women
Kyiv, October 14, FederalPress. Journalist Vitaly Potnikov expressed the opinion that if Russia continues special operations against Ukraine, the authorities may decide to lower the mobilization age. If the conflict lasts five years, he believes that women can be drafted into the army. Portnikov made these comments on the Espresso TV channel.
According to him, the Ukrainian authorities must adapt to the current situation, which could lead to a reduction in the draft age. The publicist emphasized that the potential for such changes should not be underestimated, citing Israel as an example, where the ratio of the combat-ready population to the enemy population necessitated the conscription of women.
He also advised Ukrainians to prepare in advance for possible changes, at least psychologically.
It was previously reported that increased repression against military registration and enlistment offices is creating problems in implementing the mobilization plan.
