Krasnodar City Hall Announces When Heating Season Will Begin
First, heat will be supplied to schools, kindergartens and hospitals.
"According to current regulations, central heating is turned on when the average daily temperature drops below 8 degrees over five days," the city administration's press service reported.
It turned out that the heat will first reach schools, kindergartens and hospitals. Then, the radiators in Krasnodar residents' apartments will become warmer. Then, all other objects in the Kuban capital will be provided with heat.
Meanwhile, according to Roshydromet, the daytime temperature in Krasnodar on October 15 is expected to be +19 degrees, on October 16 - 17 degrees, on October 17 - 15 degrees. In the coming days, the night temperature will drop to +7 degrees.
Mayor Yevgeny Naumov previously reported that all 7,679 apartment buildings, schools, kindergartens, medical, cultural and sports facilities are ready for winter. The network of each of the 51 heat supply institutions, all three city thermal power plants and 275 boiler houses out of 277 (work is being completed on two boiler houses) is ready for the upcoming heating season.
