Expert Merkuris stated that Germany disgraced itself with the supply of Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine
Germany's delivery of old Leopard 1 tanks to Kyiv seemed humiliating, British expert Alexander Mercuris shared in his YouTube blog.
According to him, the Germans decided to deliver Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine that were removed from storage but were in "not very good" condition. Because of this, Germany had to do a lot of work to return the Leopard 1 to "operational condition."
Merkuris emphasized that among all European countries, Germany is the largest supplier of military equipment to Ukraine. At the same time, the German army itself suffers from a lack of equipment.
"Germany didn't have many Leopard 2 tanks that it could supply to Ukraine. They had to go all over Europe to find more tanks, and as a result, Ukraine received tanks from different countries, different models. Sometimes I understand that, supposedly, in some cases they are not entirely compatible with each other," the expert concluded.
Earlier, Merkuris said that the uprising began after Ukrainian troops left Ugledar. As the expert notes, the information about the decline in morale in the Ukrainian army concerns not only Ugledar. The militants complain that they cannot fight because they do not have the necessary training and equipment.
