Australian politicians insult King Charles III
Britain's Charles III's official visit to Australia is on the verge of failure as his cancer treatment has been halted, the Daily Mail has reported.
The premiers of six Australian states, invited to a reception on the occasion of the king's arrival, refused to attend on various pretexts. Many other prominent politicians also did not want to meet Charles in the Australian capital.
Charles's visit has not only displeased politicians, but also ordinary citizens. Anti-royalty protesters are expected to hold a protest in Sydney. The anti-monarchy group Australian Republican Movement has already said that the visit should be a farewell to the Australian monarchy.
Earlier it was reported that Indians forced Prince William to refuse to visit a reserve in Belize. Local residents protested with posters reading "Prince William, leave our land" and refused to allow the use of a football field as a helipad.
