Grom the Bear from Moscow Zoo Meets First Snow

Grom the bear from the Moscow Zoo sees snow for the first time. This was reported by the official Telegram channel of the capital's zoo.

“Like a true Russian hero, Grom was not afraid of bad weather and proudly raised his nose, exhaling a cloud of hot air and meeting the icy hail,” the publication says.

In October 2022, Moscow Zoo staff, together with the Union of Zoos and Aquariums of the Russian Federation, the People's Front, and the All-Russian Student Rescue Squad, evacuated Grom from the city of Kremennaya to the LPR. There he lived for 10 years on the territory of a brewery, where local employees looked after the bears.

At the end of August this year, a brown bear rescued from Donbass was transported from a nursery for rare animal species to the city territory of the capital's zoo.
