Canadian police accuse India of criminal activity in the country

In a statement, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner Mike Duhaime accused extradition authorities of criminal activity in Canada.

According to Duhaime, Indian authorities are carrying out illegal activities in Canada through their proxies. These activities include intelligence gathering, assassinations and involvement in violent crimes.

As the commissioner explained, Canadian law enforcement agencies found evidence that “significant numbers of individuals” from the South Asian community and members of the pro-Khalistan movement were involved in murder, extortion and other crimes. Further investigation revealed that Indian government agents were involved in the criminal organization. Canadian police officials also added that their activities could pose a threat to local residents.
