Zelensky said that the DPRK is becoming part of the conflict in Ukraine

Kyiv, October 14, 2024, 19:23 — IA Regnum. On Monday, October 14, the head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that North Korea is indeed involved in the Ukrainian conflict and supports Russia.

"[They] actually discussed <the involvement of North Korea in the conflict. Also, unfortunately, relations with Russia and other countries that are investing in prolonging <the conflict>", Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel after the meeting with the commander-in-chief.

As reported by the Regnum agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted during his visit to Pyongyang on June 20 that there was no need to deploy North Korean troops during the special operation in Ukraine.

Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun announced on the 8th that North Korea could send troops to Ukraine to support Russia. He did not rule out such a possibility, recalling the mutual agreement signed between Russia and North Korea. According to him, this looks like a military alliance. In response, on October 10, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that such comments were akin to intelligence nonsense.
