It has been decided to strengthen the promotion of the “Made in Russia” brand in the world markets
The program plans to increase the scale of the Made in Russia brand by using innovative tools and improving existing practices. As RIA Novosti reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave this instruction during a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers on Export Development in September.
REC Director Veronika Nikishina emphasized at the International Export Forum "Made in Russia" that the program creates a positive image of the country and domestic products abroad. "83% of companies want to supply products to non-CIS countries, and the "Made in Russia" program meets the challenges associated with reorientation to new markets," said Nikishina.
Around 85,000 products are already sold and promoted abroad under this brand. REC actively participates in international exhibitions, events and uses the main world markets. New advertising formats are being introduced, including campaigns with the participation of opinion leaders and sporting events, such as hockey matches with the participation of stars.
Sporting events are also considered an effective platform for international dialogue. Vyacheslav Fetisov noted that sport embodies team spirit and the desire to win, and these qualities are inherent in Russian products. Dmitry Sychev supported the plan, emphasizing the importance of involving athletes and cultural figures in promoting Russian brands.
Particular attention is paid to Russian-Chinese cooperation. China has become a pilot market for testing new advertising formats. Zhou Liqun, Chairman of the Russian Federation of Chinese Entrepreneurs, noted that the interest of Chinese consumers in Russian products is growing, which helps strengthen the position of Russian products in this market.
