Residents of the Novosibirsk Region took part in a large-scale postal flash mob "Postcard to Bering"
The most active participants were students from Novosibirsk and the region, who sent postcards to the polar cities of Norilsk and Dudinka. This is reported by BFM-Novosibirsk.
Each postcard tells a unique story, reflecting its connection with the places where the expedition's scientific team lived and worked. Member of the Russian Geographical Society Igor Stepanov spoke about the importance of preserving historical memory and sent a postcard with images of the villages of Legostaevo and Chemskoye and the Berdi River. He shared his experience of participation.
In addition to students, museum staff created photo postcards depicting village life. "Postcards to Bering" were also sent by students from seven schools in Morozovo and Novosibirsk.
