Traffic on the Togliatti Bypass Highway Has Dropped, But Owners Are Not Disheartened: Why Syzran Residents Are Not Hurrying to Use the Autobahn
Data on traffic on toll roads in the Samara region for September 2024 is known. We are talking about the bypass route of Tolyatti.
- Last month, almost 210 thousand cars drove along the Togliatti bypass road. On average, about 7,000 cars were on the road every day. Most of them belong to the first category. According to the official press release, a decrease in the number of cars is expected in September compared to the free period.
The presence of AVTOBAN ensured that the indicators corresponded to the expected results and demonstrated an increase in traffic.
The company reported that the route is most popular among residents of the Samara Region and some of the residents closest to it. Since its launch in July last year, the total number of cars that have traveled through the Tolyatti bypass is approaching 1 million.
However, many Syzran drivers prefer to get to Tolyatti and Samara via the usual route – the federal highway M-5, which passes through the Zhigulevskaya hydroelectric power station. Without traffic jams, it is shorter and faster, says Syzrans. Roads are usually a last resort.
