The Eternal Flame will be lit in Murmansk's Valley of Glory on October 26
The ceremony of lighting the Eternal Flame will take place on October 26 on the territory of the reconstructed memorial complex "Valley of Glory" near Murmansk, the acting governor announced. Acting Minister of Culture of the region Olga Obukhova.
— The “Remember!” We are proud!” program includes rallies and events to light the Eternal Flame, an open interactive platform dedicated to the military past and present of the Arctic, she said.
On this day, an exhibition hall, created as part of the reconstruction, will also appear in the Valley of Glory.
"The hall is equipped with touch panels with information about the heroes of the Soviet Union, structures for listening to audio content with the memories of the participants in the Arctic battle, information kiosks with a database of those killed and missing during the Great Patriotic War," added Olga Obukhova.
We remind you that the Victory Museum in Moscow will host an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the defeat of the Nazi troops in the Arctic.
