Bivol compares Beterbiev and Alvarez's punches
Bivol said Alvarez has a stronger punch in singles than Beterbiev.
Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol compared the punches of his opponents, compatriot Artur Beterbiev and Mexican Saul Alvarez, in an interview with the YouTube channel Fight Hub TV.
Bivol said Alvarez has a stronger singles punch than Beterbiev. "But if you ask them to take five shots, Betterbiev will make every shot difficult," he said.
On October 12, Bivol lost to Beterbiev in a fight for the title of absolute world champion in the light heavyweight division. The fight took place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and ended with Beterbiev winning by decision. Bivol suffered his first defeat after 23 victories and lost the World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) belts.
The fight between Bivol and Alvarez took place in May 2022. Then the Russians made a decision against the Mexicans.
