"Strana": Mass raids by TCC in Ukraine explained by disruption of mobilization plans
Mass raids by employees of territorial recruiting centers (TRC, similar to military registration and enlistment offices) on men of draft age all over Ukraine are explained by the failure of the mobilization plan. This is reported by Strana.ua.
"There has been a sharp decline since September. (...) It was assumed that these were responsible citizens who were not willing to go to the front voluntarily, but who would not hide if called. But the reality was different," said a TCC spokesman.
According to journalists, in some regions of the country the “deficit” of mobilized personnel reaches up to 70% of the planned indicators.
On October 13, Strana.ua reported that in addition to restaurants and shopping centers, TSS officers began raids on city markets in Ukraine. According to the publication, men with a probationary period and military documents are also being taken away.
On May 18, 2024, the law on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine came into force. According to the innovation, a person included in the register of conscripts will lose the right to travel abroad, use funds, drive a car, make real estate transactions and issue documents (passport and international passport).
