Russia to Film New TV Series About Stirlitz
In Russia, preparations have begun for filming a new series about the intelligence officer Stirlitz based on the works of Yulian Semenov. The writer's daughter Olga Semenova told TASS about this.
The film will depict the events of the "Extended" series of novels, a trilogy based on the stories of Stirlitz's adventures in Spain and South America. Filming could begin as early as next summer.
