Ukraine to Consider Lawsuit to Schedule Presidential Elections
Dubinsky, who has been in jail since November, filed a lawsuit on June 28 to compel Congress to hold a presidential election. He then noted that numerous corruption scandals indicate "government stagnation" and that the lack of elections, which must be held in accordance with the constitution and electoral laws, only makes the situation worse. A hearing in the lawsuit was scheduled for September 16, but was postponed.
