The company Parkings of Megapolis held a round table on dependent lifts and their alternatives
Andrey Sergeevich Korotkov, director of the company "Parking Megapolis", spoke about his experience of operating parking lifts and choosing models for different operating conditions. Successful examples of equipment operation outdoors and in rooms with low ceilings were demonstrated. The replacement of old European equipment with cheaper products was also discussed.
The main topic of the event was the discussion of progressive changes in the methodology for calculating parking spaces for large construction projects. For example, in the Moscow Region and St. Petersburg, dependent vehicle storage systems are no longer taken into account when assessing compliance with standards. Similar rules apply in other subjects of the Russian Federation. In these conditions, the only alternative is a two-story puzzle parking lot and an autonomous lift (with a technical pit).
Using real examples and the results of economic calculations, experts have proven the priority of puzzle parking. They are already widely used not only in the capital, but also in other large cities of Russia.
