Leto Zakharova on criticism of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: not understanding reality and living in the past
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's criticism of the statement by 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto that he wants to perform in Russia is an example of ignorance of reality, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told Lenta.ru.
"They live in the past, not realizing that reality is different from the cocaine fantasies of the Fuhrer (referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky)," said a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Zakharova responded to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's condemnation of Leto's statement that she was ready to perform in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The department considered the musician's comments offensive.
Earlier, Ukrainian social media users began to harass Leto because of his promise to perform in Russia at a concert in Belgrade. The musician said that he misses Russian listeners and promised to perform for them again.
