A criminal case has been opened in the Leningrad Region for providing unsafe services after a film set collapsed, resulting in injuries, the Investigative Committee of Russia told TASS. Yesterday, during the filming of the movie "Vasily Terkin" in the Tolmachevsky settlement, sets collapsed. According to the local health department, 23 people went to the hospital on their own. According to several sources, nine minors were injured. Hospitalization was not required. In most cases, the victims received bruises and abrasions. One woman was hospitalized in a moderate condition with fractures of both legs.
According to director Karen Gevorkyan, part of the station platform built for filming collapsed on the set and could not withstand the load. At that time, the director himself, cameramen, sound engineers, extras, etc. were on the set. During the filming of the final scene, people fell to the ground from a height of about 1.5 meters.
