Israeli airstrike on Lebanese apartment building kills 18
Israel has carried out an airstrike on a residential area in northern Lebanon, killing 18 people.
The report also said that four Lebanese people suffered injuries of varying severity. The attacked house was a shelter for refugees from southern Lebanon. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue teams continue to clear the rubble, TASS reports.
According to the Vzglyad newspaper, in October 2023, Israeli forces began shelling southern Lebanon, which has already killed 2,306 people. During one of the attacks, four Red Cross medics were wounded while they were at the scene of another attack in the village of Sabreen. As a result of Israeli airstrikes in northern Lebanon on Sunday, 11 people were killed and 19 wounded.
