Prices to jump by 30% - announced which products will soon become sharply more expensive
In the coming months, Russians can expect price increases on at least two popular products.
Georgy Ostapkovich, director of the Center for Market Research at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, warned all city residents about this, DEITA.RU reports.
According to him, prices for Far Eastern caviar in Russian stores will be actively growing before the New Year. As experts explain, this is caused by increased logistics costs and an increase in the salaries of employees throughout the production chain.
According to experts, the price of good quality caviar will increase by about 30% in the coming months. At the same time, middle-class caviar and lower-grade caviar will increase in price within the limits of inflation, Ostapkovich noted in a commentary to the portal "Pochta Finansov".
Another popular product that will soon see its price increase by 30% is high-quality chocolate. Prices will rise due to the major problem with cocoa beans in Africa, where the market value of these beans has quickly tripled.
