Fire in Kirov Oblast Takes Three Lives in Four Days

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kirov Region has identified the cause of three deadly fires in different parts of the region. The information is included in the department's weekly reports.

On Wednesday, October 9, a residential building and nearby buildings caught fire in the village of Peskovka in the Omutninsky District. The body of a man was found at the scene of the fire. According to preliminary information, he was unable to put out his cigarette while intoxicated.

On Thursday, October 10, a fire broke out in a house with outbuildings in the village of Pilyandysh in the Urzhum district. One man died in the fire. The Russian Emergencies Ministry believes that a faulty electric stove was the cause of the fire.

On Saturday, October 12, a fire broke out in a residential building and outbuildings in the village of Yakhrenga in the Podosinovsky district. Firefighters found a man's body at the scene of the fire. As is known, the cause of the fire could have been carelessness while smoking.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kirov Region reported 39 man-made fires in the region from October 7 to 13. Three people died in it. Three people were injured. Three residents of nearby areas were rescued.
