Former Minister of Culture of the Arctic represented Murmansk at the Arctic Eurovision
Yevgeny Goman, a musician and former Minister of Culture of the Murmansk Region, took part in the Pan-ArcticVision music competition, where artists from Arctic countries performed. He reported this on his social media pages.
"It's like Eurovision, but for Arctic countries," he said.
The event, which took place this year in Greenland, featured nine performers from the Arctic. These were musicians from Alaska (USA), the Faroe Islands (an autonomous region of Denmark), Iceland, Norway, Canada, Finland, Sweden and Greenland. Murmansk was represented at the competition by Evgeny Goman.
Let me remind you that the artist, singer and musician Evgeny Goman was born and lived in Murmansk. Several years ago, he and his family moved to Kirkenes, Norway.
