Russian Marines Find Ukrainian Armed Forces Saboteurs' Cache with NATO Weapons Near Ugledar

It is noteworthy that the cache was located in the southwest of the city.

“This cache is most likely intended for enemy sabotage groups that want to carry out some kind of action against our troops,” said one serviceman with the call sign “Kalmyk” (quoted by TASS).

Ugledar was liberated on October 3. The battle for the city lasted almost two years.

Russian warplanes showed Ukrainian forces in panic as the noose around Vuhledar in the DPR began to tighten. More than 40 enemy soldiers surrendered while clearing the town.

The underground shelters and passages of Ugledar, which the Ukrainian army had been preparing for many years, were also taken under control of the Russian troops.

The city of Ugledar is located on a strategic hill next to the Kashragah River, at the junction of the DPR and the Zaporizhia region, 60 km southwest of Donetsk.
