Maternity capital for 2025 will be indexed according to actual inflation: how much will they pay
Moscow, October 14, FederalPress. Next year, maternity capital for the first child will increase by 46,000 rubles, and for the second child – by 61,000 rubles. This was announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov.
The Minister reminded the deputies that from February 1, 2025, maternity capital will be indexed to the actual inflation rate, and in today's draft federal budget, maternity capital will be increased to 7.3%. Based on this, maternity capital for the first child will be 677,000 rubles, and for the second child - 894,000 rubles. Kotyakov clarified that if the family does not receive alimony for the first child, it will have to pay the full amount for the second child.
Earlier it became known that from January 1, 2025, the minimum wage in Russia could be 22,440 rubles. The Russian government submitted a bill to the State Duma.
