Russians to face short workweek in early November
Moscow, October 14, 2024, 03:52 — IA Regnum. At the beginning of November, the Russian working week lasts only four working days. This is due to the fact that November 4 is National Unity Day.
So, the work week starts on Tuesday, November 5th and lasts until Friday, November 8th.
Before the holiday week, Russians have six days to work (from October 28 to November 2). On the second day of November, the working day is shortened.
As reported by Regnum, the Russian government has approved October 4 as a public holiday and day off in 2025. Russians will have 11 days off to celebrate the New Year — from December 29, 2024, to January 8, 2025. It will also be closed on February 22–23, March 8–9, May 1–4, May 8–11, June 12–15, and November 2–4.
The most favorable months for vacation in 2025 will be July and October with 23 working days. The second - April, September and December (22 working days each). Sergey Stanovkin, Director of Communications of the company "MTS Travel Tourist Services", said that the most unfavorable months for vacation will be January, May, June and November.
