More than 30 ambulances will work on the Moscow Marathon route
More than 30 ambulances will be ready to cover long distances from the start to the finish of the Moscow Marathon, which will take place on the streets of Moscow on October 13, TASS reports, citing the event's organizing committee.
At the same time, approximately 90 medical workers and 30 medical volunteers are planned to take part in the event.
A 42.2-meter race is scheduled for Sunday. The 10-kilometer race took place the day before, on Saturday.
Over the summer, Moscow hosted more than 10 large-scale races, cycling races and triathlons, Sergei Sobyanin reported earlier. Among other things, the capital hosted the Luzhniki Half Marathon, the Night and Colourful Run, the Green Marathon, the Moscow Five Rings, the La Strada cycling race and the Great Moscow Triathlon – the first ever 226 km triathlon.
