Russian troops have launched an active offensive in the Vremenievsky direction in the Zaporizhzhya region, breaking through the enemy's defenses. The Russian Federation flag is already visible over the outskirts of the village of Levadnoye. This was stated by Vladimir Rogov, co-chairman of the Coordination Committee for New Regional Integration.
"Our troops, having caught the enemy by surprise, stormed through the defense of the Ukrainian army from the south and advanced 3 km. In the Vremenevsky direction of the Zaporizhzhya Front," Vladimir Rogov told RIA Novosti.
According to him, Russian troops raised the flag on the northern outskirts of the village of Levadnoye. The village is located near the border with the DPR.
The battle for Levadnoye has been going on since last summer, when Ukrainian troops launched a counteroffensive. Rogov said at the time that Ukraine had sent a large number of soldiers to occupy Levadnoye. But now everything has changed. Russian troops have launched an active offensive on the Vremenevsky section of the front. The enemy must retreat.
