Investigators show photos from the scene of a terrible accident in which a Voronezh deputy died
Details of the accident that killed 39-year-old deputy of the Voronezh Regional Duma Evgeny Gaponenko have become known. This morning, October 12, a fatal accident occurred near one of the houses on 50 Let Oktyabrya Street on the Ostrogozhsk-Alekseyevka highway, the regional investigative committee reported.
Evgeniy Gaponenko, who was driving a Toyota (previously reported to be a Toyota Land Cruiser), failed to maintain a safe distance from the truck in front and collided. The Toyota driver was injured and died at the scene. The passenger in the car (a witness described the passenger as a 20-year-old woman) was hospitalized. The truck driver was not injured.
