The Russian Ministry of Labor announced significant changes to the schedule of holidays and days off for the next two years. These measures are aimed at optimizing the distribution of working hours and rest of citizens, which, according to the department, will have a positive impact on the quality of life of Russians.
One of the main innovations is the extension of the New Year holidays to 2025. Russians can take a vacation from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025. This is not only an opportunity to celebrate the New Year with family and friends, but will also give you the opportunity to fully recover before the start of the new year. The Ministry of Labor emphasizes that longer vacations help increase labor productivity and improve the overall well-being of citizens.
May holidays are also divided into two periods: from May 1 to May 4 and from May 8 to May 11. This allows Russians to celebrate Spring, May Day, and Victory Day, while paying attention to important celebratory events. This approach strengthens the continuity of generations and helps to pass on patriotic values.
