A fence to all fences: budget, doesn't rust, isn't see-through - lets the wind through, but no one will climb over it

A fence for every fence: inexpensive, rust-proof and opaque. The wind can pass through it, but no one can climb over it.

Few fences can be installed and forgotten about for several years. It is common practice to renew or repair a fence every 10 to 15 years. Materials such as cardboard, wood, and even stone have their drawbacks.

Metal structures are subject to corrosion, wood deteriorates when exposed to moisture and sunlight, and masonry walls such as brick or concrete blocks require a solid foundation and regular maintenance costs.

An interesting solution was proposed by the authors of the channel "Glass Fairy Tale" - a living fence. However, instead of traditional plants such as thuja, juniper, rose hips or barberry, which lose their appearance over time and require considerable care, it is proposed to use larch.

Larch has a number of advantages. It is not susceptible to diseases, does not lose density and is not noticeable. In addition, such fences are difficult to overcome due to their dense structure. Saplings are very inexpensive, and if they are planted tightly, you can get a stable hedge.

Larch is a fast grower. It grows 40-60 cm in height and 20-30 cm in width every year. It is not affected by pests and requires minimal care. If you fertilize and trim it once a year, the branches will grow so thick that even small animals will not be able to penetrate them.

The only significant investment is the purchase of a hedge trimmer. Larch meets legal requirements for light and wind permeability. According to pg11.ru, if you trim it annually, the height of the hedge can be kept no higher than 2 m.
