В национальный центр «Россия» съехались ученые и писатели-фантасты из разных стран
The National Center "Russia" is a kind of continuation of the exhibition held at VDNKh, which was visited by about 19 million people. There are no elements of the exhibition here, but the idea is preserved.
The first event held at the National Centre was the international symposium “Creating the Future”, which has already been attended and will continue to be attended by scientists, researchers, futurologists, forecasters and politicians from all over the world.
The program includes more than 60 events in four areas: the future of humanity, technology, civilization, and a multipolar world. Within the framework of the last area, a panel discussion was launched. The level can be understood as the composition of the participants. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Deputy Presidential Administration Maxim Oreshkin, and former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl.
The symposium also includes exhibitions that support the ideas of dialogue about the future of the world. It is divided into two general parts:
Andrey Kudelin, producer of the exhibition “Creation of the Future”: “One of them has the so-called Wall of Ideas, where the authors and their works are presented, and on its pages we learned about things that will appear on Earth in the future. And there is the Wall of Inventions, where dozens of invented, specific projects are presented, in some cases hundreds of years after the author wrote about them on the pages of his work.”
The Wall of Ideas, also known as the Wall of Dreams, features works by the best young artists from Russia, Brazil, India, Iran, Ethiopia and China.
Semyon Mikhailovsky, curator of the exhibition "Heritage for the Future": "There are many works from China, many interesting artists working in traditional oil painting techniques, but there should also be a lot of modern media, video materials and installations."
At the center of the exhibition are people, both figuratively and literally. In the center is a copy of the famous sculpture "Child of the Earth" by the modern Chinese artist Dongyi Shubingi. The original is several times larger and is located in the Gobi Desert. According to the author, the title of his work reminds us that we are all children of the Earth and that caring for nature is very important for preserving life on Earth. Guests from all over the world will tell us about what the next three days will be like.
