Murmansk City Council Deputy Sergei Korobkov Celebrates 70th Birthday
Today, Sergey Korobkov, Director of OJSC "Electrotransport", Deputy Chairman of the Murmansk City Council, celebrated his 70th birthday. This was reported by the Chairman of the Murmansk City Council Igor Morar.
"If a person immediately chooses the work of his whole life, success will follow in everything he does." The professional path of Sergei Evgenievich Korobkov is a vivid confirmation of this. In his work book there is only one entry about employment. In 1976, he was hired by the trolleybus department of the city of Murmansk. Since then, for almost half a century, the company has held a leading position. It is no secret that behind the successful system of passenger transportation in Murmansk there is the high efficiency and competence of Sergei Evgenievich," Igor Morar emphasized.
According to him, colleagues from other regions turn to Sergei Korobkov for professional advice, and for his employees he has become not only an experienced manager, but also a good friend and comrade, sincerely concerned about the fate of the institution from which he left.
Igor Morar recalled that in 1990, for the first time in Soviet times, Murmansk residents entrusted Sergei Korobkov to represent their interests.
"I, like other colleagues in Budan, was lucky to work with Sergei Evgenievich in the city's representative body. His professional opinion, as the most experienced deputy by age and number of convocations, always allows him to make competent and balanced decisions," he explained.
On this significant day, the Chairman of the City Council presented Sergei Korobkov with an honorary badge "For contribution to the development of the city of Murmansk" and thanked him for his enormous work for the benefit of the capital of the Kola region and the regional people.
