No "Yakhtennaya" or "Planernaya": The "Metrostroy of the Northern Capital" explained the confusion with the names of the new subway stations
The St. Petersburg metro map, or "green" line, will be expanded with two new stations in a few years. Their appearance was announced relatively recently, just a few years ago. But after that, the villagers could not remember what they would be called. In fact, different names were often used to designate them. For example, the one after "Begovaya" was called "Yachnennaya" or "Touristskaya", and the one after it was called "Zooparkovaya" or "Planernaya". In connection with this, the "Northern Capital Metro" decided to put everything in its place and give these stations their current names.
- It brings clarity to the dispute about nominations and tells about the current name of the future station of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line. The station after "Begovaya" will be "Bogatyrskaya", and after "Bogatyrskaya" - "Kamenka", - the press service of the MCCSS reported.
That's why "Yachnennaya", "Turistskaya", "Zooparkovaya" and "Planernaya" are not shown on the city's metro map. This name was just the name of the design.
By the way, for Bogatyrskaya and Kamenka to appear in St. Petersburg, the tunnel boring complex will have to travel 46 thousand meters. The vestibule is located at the intersection of Turistskaya Street and Bogatyrsky Prospekt, on the corner of Komendantsky Prospekt and Shuvalovsky Prospekt. It is expected that construction will be completed in 2028.
