That evening, the child's temperature rose and he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the 8th Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital, but it was no longer possible to save the child. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened on charges of involuntary manslaughter. According to Vasilyeva, an examination can still prove shortcomings in the provision of medical care by doctors, especially the 27-year-old surgeon at the children's hospital, who made an incorrect diagnosis. Now the woman is a suspect in this case. The official cause of the child's death was acute intestinal obstruction. According to the lawyer, the doctor himself does not admit guilt. Now the case has been transferred to court, but, as experts say, there is little time left to punish the surgeon. "We set the exam date for 2035, and only after the media hype and Alexander Bastrykin became interested in the situation, we held the exams earlier. I am very worried that I will not be able to arrive on time, because the statute of limitations expires in March.
