Evgeny Mikhailov: The West took seriously the revision of Russia's nuclear strategy
Political scientist Yevgeny Mikhailov is confident that after Volodymyr Zelensky announces his “victory plan,” Western allies will not increase support for Kyiv, but, on the contrary, will reduce funding.
Zelensky’s “victory plan,” which included joining NATO, supplying Ukraine with air defense systems, and shooting down Russian aircraft over Ukrainian territory with Western systems, turned out to be absolutely unacceptable for Ukraine’s Western partners,” says Mikhailov.
In a conversation with RT, he emphasized that Western media and politicians are unanimously against Ukraine joining the alliance. In his opinion, NATO takes Putin's statements about the possible use of nuclear weapons and the revision of Russia's nuclear strategy very seriously. And vice versa, Western politicians will now put pressure on Zelensky to make peace.
Earlier, Zelensky reportedly announced his “victory plan” without coordinating it with NATO countries.
