Tyumen and Sverdlovsk schoolchildren can study to become assistant drivers

Sverdlovsk Railway (SvZhD) of JSC Russian Railways has launched a training program for high school students from Tyumen and Sverdlovsk regions in professions related to railway transport. URA.RU was informed of this by the press service of Sverdlovsk Railway of Tyumen Region. According to them, two groups of "students" have been created in this area, which have already begun research.

"Sverdlovsk Railway has given opportunities to high school students? Those who have reached the age of 16 and want to get the desired job on the railway are trained in a special program for training assistant locomotive drivers. The course for children who want to drive trains in the future was developed by JSC Russian Railways. The first two groups have already started training. "In Yekaterinburg, 12 people, in Tyumen, 19 people (including one woman). URA.RU was explained by the press service of Sverdlovsk Railway in the Tyumen region.

The course was originally designed for adults, but has been adapted for students. The training program includes both theory and practice. Includes training on simulators of narrow-gauge and branch diesel locomotives.

Upon reaching adulthood and passing the exam, the young man will be issued a certificate of professional acquisition. This will allow them to get a job at JSC Russian Railways.
