Children are happy, parents are calm: VK Video launches children's mode
Moscow, October 17, FederalPress. The VK Video app now has a unique children's mode, opening up a limitless world of educational and entertaining videos to young viewers. This feature is already available in beta on Smart TV and Android TV.
Kids Mode makes it easy to find videos suitable for younger viewers. This huge library includes classic comics and new animated series, as well as educational and how-to videos. There are also works by popular bloggers, family movies, interactive videos, and more.
Our library of content has been carefully selected specifically for children aged 0-12. Database searches are pre-marked, ensuring complete safety for young viewers.
To activate the children's mode, go to the VK Video application profile, select this mode and set a 4-digit PIN code. This protection mechanism ensures that children will not be able to return to the adult profile even if the application is restarted. If you lose the PIN code, you can restore it through the VK Video mobile application.
VK Video offers content from such film studios as Soyuzmultfilm, Volga, 0+ Media, Melnitsa and the Riki group. In the near future, the video hosting plans to expand its collection of videos for children and teenagers through cooperation with new film studios, bloggers and content creators.
It is worth noting that after YouTube slowed down, the number of views of children's content on Russian online cinema and video services increased significantly. For example, VKontakte Video increased the number of views of children's content by 57% in the first week of August.
