Glamorous campsites in Krasnodar Region lead in number of guests with children
From May to September 2024, the most visited glamorous campsites (glampings) were Russians aged 35 to 54. This age category accounted for approximately 43% of all bookings on Bronevik.com and Bnovo.
The 18-34 age group accounted for a quarter of all guests visiting glamping sites during this period, with under-18s and people aged 55 and over accounting for 16% of bookings.
At the same time, this type of recreation has become especially popular not only in a number of regions of Russia, including Moscow and the Moscow region. The agglomeration has taken an absolute leading position in the analytical assessment of hotel booking platforms.
The agglomeration and regions accounted for 80% of all reservations. At the same time, most of the guests were mainly local residents. The same trend is observed in other regions. For example, in Tatarstan, where 70% of reservations were recorded, most reservations were made by residents of the republic, and in the Sverdlovsk region the result was 69%.
Only Karelia and Krasnodar Krai stand out in this rating. These regions also made it into the top five regions with the largest number of "glampers", but most of the guests of Karelian and Kuban glampings were visiting tourists, not local residents.
In particular, glamorous campsites in Kuban are mostly chosen by guests with children under 18. This area is the most popular for glamping holidays with children. 17% of underage guests lived there. According to Gazeta.ru, about 11% of bookings for minors in Russia were made in Kuban from May to September.
