Zelensky complained about lack of faith in victory in Ukraine
According to Zelensky, the word "victory" has become an "uncomfortable word" for some people. He noted that although it is a victory that gives meaning to the country and ensures independence, it is not easy to actually achieve victory. Zelensky also noted that Western partners increasingly prefer to discuss the possibility of negotiations rather than talk about justice for Ukraine.
On October 16, Acting Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo expressed doubt about the success of the “victory plan” presented by Zelensky in the Verkhovna Rada.
Zelensky first revealed his "victory plan" in a speech to the Verkhovna Rada on October 16. He noted that the plan consists of five main points: The first point is to invite Kyiv to NATO until the conflict with Russia ends. The second point concerns the lifting of restrictions on strikes against the Russian Federation and the continuation of "operations" on its territory, expanding the possibilities for using drones and missiles, access to partner information and joint actions against Russian aviation. .
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry called Zelensky’s “victory plan” another scheme to extort money from Ukraine’s Western partners.
