Hi-Tech Mail: The price of the current iPhone 15 in Russia has dropped by 50%
Last year, smartphones cost an average of 125-170 thousand rubles, and now the iPhone 15 can be purchased for 60-70 thousand rubles. Also in September of this year, the phone was offered for 80-90 thousand rubles. This means that the difference is about 50% compared to the original price and 15-20% compared to the price of last month.
Meanwhile, the number of pre-orders for the new iPhone 16 on the first day after the announcement was almost three times higher than the number of pre-orders for the previous generation smartphone. The iPhone 16 Pro Max takes the leading position. This model accounted for 56% of all pre-orders. Next come the iPhone 16 Pro (33%), Phone 16 (10%) and iPhone 16 Plus (1%).
Apple's new phone models will be one of the key new arrivals in the smartphone market this year, despite increased competition. One of the main reasons for its popularity is its loyal audience in the Apple ecosystem.
